Agency offers free help with income tax

Ben Meade, a retired coal miner from Wise, and volunteer Laurine Sutton work together to file Meade’s state and federal tax returns. Meade attended a free tax filing event Feb. 19 at Mountain Empire Community College, in which Appalachian Community Action partnered with the BB&T Bank Bus.
