The Heaters softball team recently competed in a benefit tournament for Brooklyn, a young cancer survivor. The Heaters won the tournament, but did not bring back a trophy. The girls presented the trophy to Brooklyn, who the girls considered to be the true champion on the field and the game of life. May the smile on this child’s face be contagious and may the hearts of these girls touch many more lives in the future.
