Eastside High School's one-act play drama team won the 1A/2A Virginia High School League's ensemble state theatre festival competition last month in Charlottesville. The team performed 'Mother Hicks,' by Suzan Zeder. The cast and crew are: Shane Burke, director; Jared Blevins, junior; Logan Deel, senior; Emma Fleming, eighth grade; Elizabeth Hall, freshman; Kaitlyn Hall, junior; Nicholas Harris, eighth grade; Brittany Hayes, senior; Jeffrey Hunsaker, eighth grade; Kailey Kyle, eighth grade; Elizabeth Mann, eighth grade; Kiara Moore, freshman; Alissa Stanley, junior; Cameron Stanley, sophomore; Kaleigh Still, freshman; Gabriel Vaughan, senior; Alissa Younce, junior.
