Taylor Chafin, a Castlewood High School junior, competed at the Virginia High School League State Tournament at Clover Hill High School in Midlothian, March 28. Chafin earned first place in poetry with her performance of ‘Why I Tutor at the International Center’ by Grace Bruenderman. Coached by Pamela Roberson, the Castlewood High School Blue Devil forensics team tied for sixth place overall among a total of 23 I-A schools.
