Akimenko, Mullins take singles titles in Coalfield Progress Open

UVa-Wise senior Vlad Akimenko won two titles in the Coalfield Progress Open tennis tournament on Sunday. Akimenko defeated John Hereford to win the Men’s Singles division. He then teamed up with Brian Berg to defeat the duo of Hank and Elijah Hankins to win the Men’s Double trophy. JODI SPRIGGS PHOTO.
