The Heaters Baseball Club 11-u took home the championship of the BPA Summer Slugfest with a 15-4 victory over the Elizabethton Twins last weekend in Bristol, Tenn. The club finished the weekend with a perfect 5-0 record in the tournament, which consisted of 17 teams. Teams from Virginia, Tennessee, and North Carolina participated in the event. The Heaters finished the BPA Tournament regular season as the No. 1 ranked 11-u baseball team out of the 34 teams in the 11-u baseball division. The team now moves on to the BPA Virginia State Tournament.
