Job fair, open house attract big crowd

Saturday, Astrid Vanover and Felicity Short were directing vehicles to park in an overflow lot for a job fair and open house at the Wise County Career-Technical Center. Vanover and Short are studying criminal justice there. The first-time job fair was held for four hours. According to an official, 124 people seeking work signed up to learn about more than 200 available jobs.
