Tuesday, Wise Town Council recognized the Central High School girls basketball team for its impressive season and 2024 2A state championship. The team finished with a record of 26 wins and four losses with no other Virginia team besting it. ‘As a coach, I couldn’t ask for anything more,’ said Council Member Robin Dotson. ‘We appreciate the town of Wise recognizing us.
