County students head back to class Thursday

Virginia Department of Transportation officials hope this road slide on Coeburn's Route 1101 doesn't interfere with vehicles approaching or leaving Coeburn High School when classes start Aug. 12. The slide happened Thursday, and a crew from Elk Knob Inc. hopes to get the road stabilized enough for traffic by the end of this week, VDOT said.Click Hereto order photo reprints JEFF LESTER PHOTO
