Richlands takes top honors in Lonesome Pine Band Festival

Penny Osborne, former drum major of the J.J. Kelly Indian Band under the late Lucian Priode, presents the Lucian Priode Grand Champion Award to members of the Richlands High School “Blue Tornado” Band. The band took top honors as well as Crowd Favorite Award as selected by the fans. The band festival featured 22 bands from across Southwest Virginia and Eastern Kentucky.
