Final High Knob tower design revealed

Elements of three conceptual designs presented by Roanoke-based architecture firm Hill Studio in July are combined into a new final design for a replacement High Knob tower. It includes an octagonal tower, the shape of which is reminiscent of the old wooden structure, with a graded and looping trail leading visitors to the structure’s observation deck.
