There were plenty of scary, funny, interesting and beautiful faces strolling around the event. Among the most captivating faces was that of 9-year-old Vampire Queen Brooklin Baker of Wise. Mother Wendy Baker said her daughter insisted that a vampire’s face should be painted ghostly white. But Mrs. Baker, who did the handiwork, won out, successfully arguing that the Vampire Queen needed to be a striking beauty to blend with humankind and lure them as her prey.
