Wise County had a group of visitors from across the state last weekend. The Virginia Association of Counties Board of Directors spent a bit of time dealing with official business, but also toured a Red River Coal strip mine and Powell River Project, which is overseen by Extension Agent Amy Gail Fannon-Osborne, shown here.
