Coeburn junior Lindsay Lawson was named Sunday as the recipient of the AHP of Virginia Female Sports Leadership Award winner for the spring season. Lawson, who has excelled in both softball and track this season, was chosen for the award from a group of top high school female athletes in the coverage area of the AHP of Virginia newspapers including The Coalfield Progress, The Dickenson Star and The Post.
