LEAH MAE BRANHAM

Leah Mae (Boggs) Branham, 90, of Big Stone Gap, entered peacefully into eternity Sunday, October 18, 2020 from her residence. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Leah was of the Baptist faith. She was an avid reader, she was especially fond of the local history. Leah was very talented and creative having won several awards for her flower arrangements and wreaths. She enjoyed raising flowers and gardening. She also like canning and preserving whenever she could. Her greatest love was spending time with her family.
Leah is preceded in death by her parents, Marion Edwin Boggs and Hazel (Adams) Boggs; and a brother Robert E. Boggs.
Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of nearly 73 years, Curtis Branham of Big Stone Gap; her daughters, Cheryl Marshall of Pound; Linda Jane Branham of Big Stone Gap, Paula O’brien of Big Stone Gap and Susan Couch of Oak Island NC; grandchildren, Kimberly Mullins, Gina Bolling, Karoline Motley, Gabrielle Quinley, Shannon Sanders and Laure Couch; great–grandchildren, Sarah Bolling Hagan, Andrew Mullins, Seth Bolling, Cameron Quinley, Ryan Motley and Colton Motley.; great-great- grandchildren, Scarlette Hogan, Adeline Hogan and Afton Mullins; brothers, Roger Boggs of Kingsport, TN., and Van Buren Boggs of Pound; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones to cherish her memory.

Leah’s family would like to give a special thanks to MSA Hospice and staff and the caregivers that took such loving care of our mother. Your kindness will always be remembered.
Private graveside services were conducted at 11 am Tuesday, October 20, at Crouse Cemetery in Pound.
