Day of Giving Back event was a success

SUMMER IS HERE
Summer is in full swing, and I’ve seen more people out and about than I had seen in months. I love all the summer activities as I am sure you all do as well. Let’s all just try to remember to be more careful than we normally would, and to be more aware oursleves and the people around us. We have to continue to keep our area as healthy as we can so we can continue to enjoy all that summer has to offer!

DAY OF GIVING BACK

SON- Serving Our Neighbors, an organization associated with the Appalachian district of the United Methodist Church, along with the pastor and some of the members of Pound UMC had a very successful day giving back to the community Friday June 26. They were able to serve our community by giving out food to anyone who might need it.

PRAYERS

There are several members of our community in need of prayer. Let’s all pray for those who are sick and battling illness, and their family members who are taking care of them. Also, please say a special prayer for Lois Bolling, Doug Bolling, Joan Carter, Rocky Cantrell, and all the requests that remain unspoken.
