Naturalist Rally is May 2

The Virginia Master Naturalist High Knob Chapter will hold the second annual Pine Mountain Naturalist Rally at the Cumberland Mountain Fur, Fish and Game Club, 12335 Pottertown Road in Pound on Saturday, May 2 at 10 a.m.

Experts will share information on wildflowers, butterflies, birds, mammals, geology and more. Bring the kids to participate in a scavenger hunt. There will also be an evening float on the Pound Lake starting at 4 p.m. Rent a kayak from Stone Mountain Adventures on site or bring your own. The event is free.
