KENNETH R. MEADE

Kenneth R. Meade, 71, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at the Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Norton, VA.

He was a retired Coal Miner from Paramont Coal Company with over 33 years of service. He enjoyed camping, horses and family. His grandchildren were his pride and joy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Acie Meade Sr. and Syreptia Meade; and siblings, Acie Jr., Ota, Pauline and Naomi.

Surviving are his loving wife of 52 years, Connie Meade; three sons, Kenneth Neil Meade of Norton, Bryan Meade and wife Robyn of Pound and Thomas Shane Meade and wife Courtney of Pound; five grandchildren, Nicholas, Hannah, Mariah, Brittany and Brycen; three brothers, Walton Meade of Wise, Billy Meade of Wytheville and Everette Meade of Pound; five sisters, Ramona Wachman of Stony Creek, VA, Leola Curtis of Midlothian, VA, Carolyn Arwood of Greenville, TN, Susanne McFall of Pound and Wanda Meade of Pound; and a host of other relatives and friends.
