Now comes your Petitioner, The Wise County Department of Social Services, and moves this honorable court for an order of publication in the above referenced matter. This suit is for a permanency planning hearing and the termination of parental rights of the father of a child known as Jonna Bentley.

And, it appearing by affidavit filed according to law that the identity of the father of Jonna Bentley is unknown and the location of the mother of Jonna Bentley is unknown, it is therefore ORDERED that the father of Jonna Bentley or anyone else with an interest in the termination of parental rights of Jonna Bentley appear on or before the 11th day of June, 2013 in the Clerk’s Office of this Court and do what is necessary to protect his/her interests.

ORDER

The General Receiver of this Honorable Court holds certain funds pursuant to Orders of this Court in case number CH03-254 styled Estate of Joe Bell vs. Elizabeth Ann Norfleet, et als, and the Estate of Joe Bell, court file no.: 03-96, for the benefit of Earnest Gardner, who is now deceased.

The object of the above-styled suit is to determine the heris of the Estate of Earnest Gardner (deceased) and their share of the monies held by the General Receiver for the purposes of distribution. The Court having found that while certain heirs are presently known and have made claim to the property being held, other heirs may exist and are unknown at this time.

It appearing by affidavit of Charles Herbert Slemp, III, General Receiver, filed according to law that the potential beneficiaries are “parties unknown” at the present as unknown ptoential beneficiaries of the funds held, it is, therefore,

ORDERED that the said unknown heirs appear on or before the 8th day May, 2013, in the Clerk’s Office of this Court and do what is necessary to protect his interests.

And, it is further, ORDERED that this order be published once a week for four successive weeks in (i) the Coalfield Progress of Norton, Virginia, a newspaper of general circulation in the County of Wise and City of Norton, Virginia, (ii) in the Bluefield Daily Telegraph, Bluefield, West Virginia, and (iii) in the Cincinnati Enquirer, Cincinnati, Ohio, a newspaper of general circulation in greater Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio and Boone County, Kentucky; that a copy of this order be posted at the front door of the courthouse wherein this court is held. PUBLIC NOTICE

Notice is hereby given, that the Town Council of the Town of Wise, VA will conduct a public hearing on April 23, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. in the council chambers of the Wise Municipal Building at 501 West Main Street, Wise, Virginia for the purpose of public hearing and comment on:

An application for rezoning submitted by Renew, LLC for the rezoning of a 0.570 acre tract with 150 feet of said tract fronting on Nottingham Avenue, NE from R-B medium Density Residence Zoning District to B-3 Central Business Zoning District. Said tract is currently vacant.

The application for rezoning submitted by Renew, LLC is on file in the office of the Town Planner where it may be examined by interested parties during normal business hours.

The application proposes to refocus a portion of the Wise County Landfill-Blackwood Site from a landfill to a Landfill Gas Collecting System and Class A Municipal Sludge Treatment and Drying Facility. The proposal is being considered an Experimental Practice in accordance with 4 VAC 25-130-785.13 of the Virginia Coal Surface Mining Reclamation Regulations, which will leave exposed highwalls on a portion of the landfill site originally designated to be eliminated with landfill waste. The exposed highwalls will remain in order to facilitate the construction and operation of the proposed facilities.

The site is located approximately 3 miles West of the City of Norton, VA, just North of US Alternate 58, near the Wise County Community of Blackwood at the current Wise County Blackwood Landfill Site. The site is located on Norton U. S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute quadrangle map.

A copy of the application materials is available for public inspection and comment at the Virginia Division of Mined Land Reclamation office located at 3405 Mountain Empire Road, Big Stone Gap, VA 24219. Any person whose interests are or may be adversely affected by the proposed application, or an Officer, or Head of any Federal, State, or local government agency or authority may within 30 days of April 23, 2013 submit written comments or objections to the Division of Mined Land Reclamation concerning the proposed revision; and may also request, in writing, that the Division hold an Informal Conference concerning the application.
