The Back Valley Cable Sale is located within Compartment 2053, Clinch Ranger District, Scott County, VA.  The Forest Service will receive sealed bids in public at the District Office at 3:00 PM local time on 02/25/2013 for an estimated volume of 93 CCF of Combined Hardwoods sawtimber, 965 CCF of Oak sawtimber, 380 CCF of Yellow Poplar sawtimber,  and 1046 CCF of Hardwoods pulpwood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Clinch Ranger District, 9416 Coeburn Mt. The City of Norton requests qualified independent certified public accountants to submit proposals to enter into a term contract to perform a financial audit for each of the fiscal years ended June 30, 2013 through 2015.
