An Appalachia man has been indicted on 100 counts of allegedly possessing child pornography.
The Wise County commonwealth attorney’s office released an unsealed grand jury indictment Tuesday afternoon against James Gerald Davidson, 45, of 13393 Lower Exeter Rd., Appalachia.
Davidson is charged with one count of possessing child pornography, punishable by up to five years in prison, and 99 counts of possessing child porn, second or subsequent violation, each one punishable by up to 10 years.
The indictment alleges that the crimes took place between early April and late June 2016.
According to court records, a capias has been issued for Davidson’s arrest.
