After suffering damage during flooding earlier this year, part of Cranesnest Road — which leads to a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers recreation area, campgrounds and launch ramp into Flannagan Reservoir — will remain closed at least through this camping season. The road had been closed for repairs. It is now open to the last campground, according to Flannagan officials, but remains closed beyond that. The Cranesnest launch ramp will not be accessible this year, nor the fisherman’s trail at the road's end. Flannagan officials say foot and bike traffic are allowed into that area but no motorized...
