A Dickenson County woman has been convicted in a 2015 abduction and murder-for-hire scheme against law enforcement officers who had arrested her on a series of drunken driving charges. After the third DUI arrest, testimony would demonstrate, Cassandra Delynn Silcox of Clintwood began talking to a Clintwood man regarding the possibility of making the three arresting officers “unavailable” for her court proceedings, according to Dickenson County Commonwealth Attorney Seth Baker.
