Slingshot legend Richard "Blue" Skeen of Pound escaped serious injury in an early morning house fire Monday but lost his home and everything he owns. Skeen's place is about four miles up the Bold Camp section and was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived on the scene about 13 minutes after getting the call, Pound fireman Glenn Cantrell said. Skeen, 84, was sitting in his truck beside the road when they got there around 1 a.m., Cantrell said.
