HAYSI — A group of folks ranging from local officials to all-terrain vehicle enthusiasts gathered midday last Wednesday at what will be the beginning of the Ridgeview Trail to celebrate the start of its construction. The multi-use trail, part of the larger Spearhead Trails system, will include two separate parts going in different directions — one for all-terrain and off-highway vehicles and another for horses. The ATV/OHV trail is expected to be about 50 miles long, depending upon the terrain once construction begins; the equestrian trail will be 8-10 miles. The aim is to eventually connec...
