Police descend on doctor’s office

Federal law enforcement agents, along with officers from state police and the state Alcoholic Beverage Control department, spent all of Wednesday moving in and out of the Coeburn Medical Center, operated by Dr. G.S. Kanwal. Police vehicles blocked the street in front of the facility. Coeburn police Chief Scott Brooks, state police and ABC declined to comment on what they were doing, saying federal authorities were in charge.
