Jerry Adkins, 61, was listed in serious condition Thursday morning at Holston Valley Medical Center, according to Wellmont Health System spokesman Jim Wozniak. Adkins, a resident of the Norton Green apartments on 14th Street NW, allegedly was shot Dec. 1 by a neighbor, Timothy Lemay, 50, who is under arrest.
