The family of Ralph Stanley intends to let friends and fans take part in his memorial services this afternoon. According to Stanley’s obituary, his family will receive friends today at 5 p.m. at the Hills of Home Park, in the Smith Ridge section of McClure. A Masonic funeral service will began at 6 p.m. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8979 will conduct a graveside service, with entombment to follow. The family, which is being served by Mullins Funeral Home in Clintwood, asks that people do not send flowers, but instead make donations to the Shriners’ Children’s Hospital or St. Jude Children’s...
