COEBURN — “It’s the most wonderful event of the year in Wise County.” That’s how Mark Keith, with the Lonesome Pine Office on Youth, described the third annual Special Needs Fall Ball. His assessment was evident by the smiles, cheers, and laughter that lit up Coeburn Middle School Saturday night. Principal Angela Clendenon said the school has hosted the ball since its inception, but she was quick to point out that it wasn’t her idea.
