Farmers and Miners Bank has announced the promotion of Luke Mullins to branch manager of its Clintwood branch.
Mullins grew up in the Clintwood community, graduating from Clintwood High School in 2004 before attending King College in Bristol, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Mullins currently lives in Clintwood with his wife Courtney and son Maverick.
“We are excited to have a local person of the caliber of Luke assume the management of one of our bank’s most successful branches,” Bill Sage, chief executive officer of Farmers and Miners Bank, said in the announcement.
“We are equally excited to see Lester Moore assume his new role as business development officer for the Dickenson, Wise County area.”
Moore has served as manager of the current branch since its opening in 1998 and has been instrumental in its growth and success.
Moore said he looks forward to working in his new role to expand lending opportunities for business loans in the area.
