A&G Coal  Corporation of P.O. Box 2178, Beaver, WV  25813 is applying for Renewal of the Coal Surface Mine/National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) PERMIT No. 1101918/0081918.

The operation is located 1.1 miles SE of Roaring Fork on Canepatch Creek.  There are 751.86 acres in Wise County off of St Rt 23 and Rt 603, located on the Norton 7.5 minute USGS quadrangle.  The nearest stream is Cane Patch Creek of Roaring Fork on North Fork of the Powell River.  The SWH map showing the permit area is attached in Section 21.2 of the application.

There are five NPDES Outfalls on the permit, 007, 008, A, B, and B2.  It discharges into Cane Patch Creek and then into the North Fork of the Powell River.  The location of the discharge can be seen on the SWH Map in Section 21.2.  All discharge points are existing.

Any person with a valid legal interest which might be adversely affected by this proposal, or an officer or head of any federal, state or local government agency or authority, may within 30 days of  June 18, 2019 submit written comments or objections concerning this bond reduction, and may also request, in writing, that the Division of Mined Land Reclamation hold an Informal Conference concerning this application.
